FROM THE DEPUTY PRINCIPAL'S DESK
I am particularly elated to announce this new development in the history of the school. In the next public university intake the joint admission board yesterday in the press announced the cut mark at 61 points for the girls.
This is good news for the girl child in kenya and for the girl child educators like me and my teachers. we could have liked this pronouncement to be made when schools are open but still we shout for this milestone in the history of the school.
I am particularly proud having been here from the time the school used to record a lot of waste grades. Today as things stand the mean grade of the school for the last four years has been a C+. Theoretically all ought to score at least a C+. The C+ grade is the official university entry grade in kenya. However since admission is pegged on bed space/facilities availability then the numbers to be admitted is decided each year.
Allow me to take this opportunity to thank those who have supported this girls in every way to stay in school. If you have helped this child feel proud since the effort and money has not been wasted.
I will highlight the support given by many and groups especially the SALESFORCE GROUP, salesforce hi5 thanks for supporting the girl child in kenya. You are doing a wonderful job in kenya, changing lives of young girls.God bless you.
I will want thank the very hardworking teachers who have sacrificed and spared no effort to see this children excel and have a future. The teachers have drilled these children guided them and motivated them to excellence. Teachers, God bless you and provide for you and your children thanks very much for the wonderful work you are doing for the girl child.May you not lack, surely, ''you teach to touch the future.''
The student populace thanks for supporting your peers, emulate them extend the lead.
The support and subordinate staff thanks for your support to the girl child your effort is worth. You availed to them the resources they needed; stationary, cooked for them, washed for them, surely you build them.
Kind regards
Nyandieka Benard Akama
